Intermodule Barge

The Barge has always been a key part of St. Louis. The barge’s seemingly mundane purpose moves product up and down the Mississippi River illustrating transportatons importance to the agricultural industry. The Intermodule barge highlights the importance of transportation by giving the public a sense of the size of each form of transportation while allowing the public to view each form of transportation from the perspective of the river. This raises awareness of how much product is moved through the use of barges and how important this technology is to the midwest.
