Intertransit

My project looks into the hierarchy of transportation in St Louis. By building in the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne Station it asks the question, can the metro be a dominant form of transportation? This building will answer this question by making the end of the blue line a destination for travelers instead of just a stop on their journey. It will include a grocery store and a daycare which will make the journey more convenient. This will make the station a more strategic site than just a metro station making it more appealing to commuters. The site also has access to other forms of transportation such as biking trails, railroad, and car access. The metro will be the focus of all these different types of travel.
